Wheyward Spirit was featured in Progressive Dairy in an article titled, “Wheyward Spirit: Harnessing the power of whey.” In this article, founder Emily Darchuk discusses the inspiration behind creating Wheyward Spirit as a way to tell an agricultural story, connect people to where their food comes from, and show how the process of creating spirits from whey is one that requires different systems working together. She describes the spirit as a "beautiful hybrid between ultra-premium Blanco tequila and vodka." With the goal of continuing to scale bigger through national distributors and corporate events, Darchuk hopes to expand partnerships in the industry.
