With an unconventional spirit comes an unconventional martini! Spice up your standard martini with a lemon and pepper-infused vermouth for a delicious and bespoke twist on a classic.
2 1/2 oz Wheyward Spirit
1/2 oz Lemon Pepper Infused Vermouth
Garnish: lemon peel, fresh thyme sprig
Measure the Wheyward Spirit and vermouth into a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a small martini or coupe glass. Express the lemon peel oil over the top of the drink and discard. Garnish with thyme.
Lemon Pepper Infused Vermouth
Makes about 7 ounces
1 cup blanc vermouth
1 oz Wheyward Spirit
6 whole black peppercorns
2 strips lemon peel zest
Place ingredients into a small bottle. Let infuse for at least 3 days before using. Store refrigerated for up to 30 days.
